Torridge Training Services (TTS Group) is North Devon’s largest and most successful employability provider.

Our charity was constituted 23 years ago to assist the unemployed, economically inactive and disadvantaged members of our communities into employment / education using a wide range of interventions. Our target client groups include; the long term unemployed, lone parents, rurally isolated, clients with disabilities, NEET’s and clients with a history of offending,

Examples of interventions being:

Motivation, confidence and self esteem, IAG, job search, work placements, interview skills, practical project based work attitudinal training, CV’s and applications, conflict resolution, work trials, business start up and self employment training and mentoring

We have well established teams of employability workers and mature and robust relationships with the employers throughout the region.

We currently deliver the JC+ Flexible New Deal Programmes throughout Northern and Mid Devon and north Cornwall including, mentoring and basic skills assessment/delivery and the JCP Support Contract. We also deliver a wide variety of programmes for the Princes Trust, Connexions, Local schools, Youth Offending Teams and Probation Service and the LSC. We hold direct contracts with the LSC and partnerships with Working Links, Petroc and A4E for delivery of work based learning programmes and life skills training.
